WHO AM I

I was born in Green Point, Cape Town, in 1974. I made my first-class cricket debut at the age of 16. I am considered by some as second only to Jonty Rhodes in my ability to hit the stumps. I am known for being an instinctive player, as I rarely practise in the nets before a match. I have created history in the ongoing cricket World Cup. Who am I?

Answer to last week’s question: Viswanathan Anand
