Paes-Damm runner-up

Miami: Leander Paes and Czech Martin Damm’s attempt to win back-to-back ATP Masters titles was foiled by the Bryan brothers at the Miami Masters Sony Ericsson Open on Saturday.

Paes and Damm went down to the second-seeded Mike and Bob 6-7, 6-3, 10-7 in an hour and 37 minutes. Of the four break points that both the teams had, the Bryans converted three, while sixth seeds Paes and Damm converted one.

Paes and Damm also lost the opportunity to become the new ATP doubles race leaders. (AGENCIES)
