Calcutta: Invasor, the Breeders’ Cup Classic champion in 2006, won the Dubai World Cup, in Dubai, on Saturday. The 19-year-old jockey, Fernando Jara, partnered the 5-4 favourite to victory. Kiaran McLaughlin trained the Argentinian-bred horse for owner Sheik Hamdan Maktoum.
