India maintain lead

Calcutta: India maintained a two-point lead over Pakistan at the end of the second day of Ravi Kirloskar Trophy golf in Islamabad, according to information received here.

India won three matches while losing an equal number of matches to lead 7-5.

Jasjeet Singh and Anirban Lahiri won their match in the national category while the duo of Simarjeet Singh and Joseph Chakola lost their match.

In the over-40 category, former Asian golf medallist Amit Luthra and Vinay Goel posted a fine victory while compatriots Rajendra Dutta and Yogesh Chopra lost their match.
