SUBJECT: The institute invites applications for admission to the postgraduate degree programme in disaster management.

ELIGIBILITY: Applicants should have a bachelors degree of a minimum of three years’ duration or its equivalent in any discipline, from a recognised university with a minimum average of 50 per cent marks (40 per cent for SCs/STs). Students completing final year bachelors degree examinations by June 30, 2007, are also eligible to apply.

PARTICULARS: The application form and information brochure can be obtained by sending a request letter to the deputy registrar (general administration) of the institute along with a demand draft for Rs 550, drawn in favour of Registrar, Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai, payable at Mumbai. You can also download the form from the website and submit it along with Rs 500 in cash or by demand draft, or pick up the form from the cash counter of TISS by paying Rs 500.

SUBJECT: The institute invites applications for its MTech programmes in applied mechanics, civil engineering, computer science and engineering, electrical engineering, electronics engineering, fluids engineering, information security, materials science and engineering, mechanical engineering, software engineering and in GIS and remote sensing.

ELIGIBILITY: Applicants must have a bachelors degree in the subject and qualify in GATE (for an MTech in computer science and software engineering, there will be an additional entrance test).
