Maoists grab king’s land

Kathmandu, April 22 (PTI): Nepal’s Maoists have begun seizing “royal properties” in the capital, blaming the government for failing to nationalise the properties of the king.

“The parliament has failed to formulate laws on capturing land belonging to the king... the Young Communist League will now capture all such land and use it for the public,” the CPM-Maoist central committee has said.
