New Delhi: Achanta Sharath Kamal lost 2-4 to Lai Chak Ko of Hong Kong in the men’s singles pre-quarters of the Liebherr Chile Open table tennis tournament in Santiago on Sunday. Sharath lost in two hours and 45 minutes to the 24th ranked player.

Earlier, Sharath had teamed up with Soumyadeep Roy in men’s doubles, where the duo went down to Ko and Ching Li 1-4. (PTI)
