Established in 1994, the Apollo Institute of Hospital Administration (AIHA) is supported by the Apollo Hospitals’ Educational and Research Foundation, a non-profit organisation. Located on the 30-acre campus of Apollo Hospital in Hyderabad, the institute is affiliated to the Osmania University.
The institute started its masters programme in hospital management (MHM) to prepare a dynamic generation of qualified administrators for the efficient management of hospitals in India and abroad. The students are exposed to various aspects of management theory and functions with emphasis on practical inputs to train them for immediate managerial assignments in hospitals.
The course is spread over five semesters — four semesters of theory and practicals, and a semester of internship in a leading speciality hospital in India.
The advertisement is released in the first week of May. If you send a request for a form along with a demand draft of Rs 500, drawn in favour of AIHA and payable at Hyderabad, you will be sent an application form, a prospectus, a model question paper and the admit card. The form can also be downloaded from the website (www.apolloiha.ac.in).
