Universal Cables net

Universal Cables has reported a 32.5 per cent rise in its net profit at Rs 21.97 crore in 2006-07 against Rs 16.57 crore a year ago. Gross revenue increased 27 per cent to Rs 440.33 crore compared with Rs 347.47 crore in the previous fiscal. The company recommended a dividend of 24 per cent for the fiscal.

Triton buy

Triton Corp has acquired two UK-based companies — West Talk Corporate Ltd and New Beginning Finance Ltd — for £1.3 million.Triton will hold 100 per cent equity in West Talk Corporate and 80 per cent in New Beginning Finance.
