Howrah, May 24: A Trinamul Congress worker was shot dead tonight by three motorcycle-borne miscreants in Bally.

The incident occurred around 9.15 pm when Bijoy Krishna Dutta, 46, was sitting on a motorcycle parked in front of a party office. Trinamul general secretary Bani Sinha Roy alleged: “The murder was pre-planned by CPM activists to finish our party.”
