Mumbai: Dilip Vengsarkar is bidding to retain his post as the vice-president of the Mumbai Cricket Association headed by the BCCI president Sharad Pawar at its biannual elections scheduled for June 6.
Our group has decided to field Vengsarkar and Ravi Savant (another sitting vice-president) for the same posts while I would contest for a place in the managing committee, said incumbent joint secretary Lalchand Rajput.
