SUBJECT: The institute invites applications for admission to the two-year full-time MTech/ME courses in information technology (IT), computer sciences and computer technology and applications, and energy technology and environment management.

ELIGIBILITY: Information technology applicants should have a BE/BTech degree in computer science/electronics/IT with a minimum of 55 per cent marks. Computer sciences and computer technology and applications applicants should have a BE/BTech in any branch of engineering or an MSc in computer science with 55 per cent marks. Energy technology and environment management applicants should have a BE/BTech in any branch of technology/engineering or an MSc in environmental sciences/applied chemistry/applied physics with 55 per cent marks. GATE scholarships will be available for a limited number of seats. A few seats are also available for sponsored candidates.

SCHOOL OF PLANNING, CENTRE FOR ENVIRONMENTAL PLANNING AND TECHNOLOGY (CEPT), AHMEDABAD

Last date for submission of applications is JUne 24, 2007

SUBJECT: The School of Planning, CEPT, Ahmedabad, will conduct a planning admission test for its postgraduate programmes in urban and regional planning, housing, environmental planning, and infrastructure planning on June 24, 2007 in Calcutta.

ELIGIBILITY: Students with postgraduate degrees in economics, sociology and geography, and undergraduate degrees in architecture and civil engineering can take the test.

PARTICULARS: The test will be held at the Institute of Town Planners, India, West Bengal Branch, IB-190, Sector-3, Salt Lake, Calcutta (near Mizoram Hall). The reporting time is 8.30 am. Candidates have to bring the original and photocopies of their degrees from Plus Two onwards. They can download the online application form or arrive at the test location with the documents mentioned above if they’re unable to download the form.
