ELIGIBILITY: Students who have passed Plus Two with chemistry, mathematics and physics may apply for admission. Those who have qualified in AIEEE (2006 and 2007) will be preferred. The remaining seats will be offered on the basis of performance in the admission test to be conducted by SVNIT, Surat, on July 22, 2007.

SUBJECT: The institute invites applications for admission to the two-year MTech course in leather technology approved by the All India Council for Technical Education and affiliated to the West Bengal University of Technology.

ELIGIBILITY: Those who have a bachelors degree in leather technology or biotechnology, with first class marks from a recognised institution or an MSc in chemistry or biochemistry with minimum 60 per cent marks from a recognised institution may apply for admission. They should have qualified in the Graduate Aptitude Test. Sponsored candidates who have the required qualifications may also apply.

SUBJECT: The institute, which is a unit of the Sri Aurobindo Society, Pondicherry, invites applications for its one-year diploma course in creative photography. The course is designed by eminent photographer Raghu Rai.

ELIGIBILITY: Applicants should have passed Plus Two or its equivalent from a recognised board/university.

PARTICULARS: Application forms can be obtained from the institute or downloaded from its website. The cost of the form is Rs 600.

On submission of the application form, the applicant will be sent a questionnaire, which has to be filled in and submitted along with five photographs clicked by the applicant. After reviewing the questionnaire and the photographs, the applicant will be called for a final interview.
