Pak govt relents on judge

Islamabad, June 28 (PTI): In a major turnaround, the Pakistan government today said it had no objection to the suspended chief justice Iftikhar Chaudhry being tried by the full bench of the supreme court.

State counsel Mallik Qayyum told the bench that the government was also ready to withdraw its objection to the court hearing Chaudhry’s petition.
