Radico Khaitan net up

Radico Khaitan has recorded a marginal increase in its net profit at Rs 45.25 crore during 2006-07 compared with Rs 45.03 crore in the year-ago period. The company clocked a 20 per cent jump in its income from operations to Rs 1,365.79 crore from Rs 1,135.40 crore a year ago. Profit before depreciation, interest and tax was up 15 per cent at Rs 99.96 crore against Rs 87.21 crore.

Global Vectra

Global Vectra Helicorp has posted a net profit of Rs 2.86 crore in the fourth quarter ended March 31. Its net profit rose to Rs 12.50 crore for the year ended March 31 from Rs 6.38 crore a year ago. Income from operations rose 66.67 per cent to Rs 149.79 crore from Rs 89.87 crore a year ago. Earnings per share increased to Rs 10.03 from Rs 5.70 in the previous fiscal.

Suraj profit

Suraj Stainless has posted a 100 per cent growth in turnover at Rs 233.28 crore for the year ended March 31, against Rs 116.93 crore a year ago. Net profit increased to Rs 8.14 crore from Rs 2.86 crore in the year-ago period. Earnings per share rose to Rs 15.41 from Rs 5.56 in the previous fiscal.

Ontrack

Ontrack Systems has reported a 16 per cent rise in turnover at Rs 34.01 crore for the year ended March 31 compared with Rs 29.23 crore in the previous fiscal. Profit before tax was Rs 1.52 crore, while profit after tax was Rs 1.36 crore. The board has recommended a dividend of 5 per cent.

R-Com move

Reliance Communications has tied up with Pacific Bangladesh Telecom Ltd, which offers CDMA service in Bangladesh under the name CityCell. The roaming facility will enable Reliance post-paid mobile customers use the same number and handset both in India and Bangladesh.

Ritesh sales

Ritesh Properties and Industries Ltd has recorded net sales of Rs 11.21 crore for the year ended March 31, against Rs 3.52 crore in the previous year. The company registered a net profit of Rs 7.18 crore compared with Rs 1.31 crore a year ago.

Fortis income

Fortis Healthcare Ltd has reported a 77 per cent growth in total income at Rs 525.40 crore for the year ended March 31, compared with Rs 297.08 crore last year. The EBITDA rose 122 per cent to Rs 61.52 crore. The company recorded a net loss of Rs 97.39 crore.

TCS venture

Tata Consultancy Services will partner the department of electrical engineering, IIT Bombay, to set up an initiative called PowerAnser Labs. The lab will focus on using technology to deliver online network analysis.

TI Cycles

TI Cycles of India has introduced Hercules Ryders and BSA Ladybird bicycles. The bicycles are priced in the range of Rs 9,000 and Rs 15,000.
