Kuntala appointed coach

Former India captain and joint secretary of Bengal Women Footballers Welfare Association, Kuntala Ghosh Dastidar has been appointed as one of the coaches for senior India women’s team. The coaching camp will be held in Neyvelli from September 10 to 20 October.

Railway TT

Southern Railway beat South Central Railway 3-1 in a men’s quarter final match of the 55th All India Railways table tennis Championship at the BNR Recreation Club on Saturday. In other quarter finals, SE Railway defeated Eastern Railway 3-1, Western Railway beat Integral Coach Factory beat 3-0 and Central Railways outplayed South Eastern Central Railway 3-0.

South Eastern Railway won the All-India Invitational Waterpolo meet beating Eastern Railway 12-8 in the final on Saturday.
