New Delhi: India grabbed three gold on the concluding day to finish second overall at the 17th Asian Athletics Championship in Amman, Jordan, on Sunday.
According to press release, Renjith Maheshwary won the men’s triple jump event with a distance of 17.19 metres while Sinimol Paulose clinched the women’s 1500m gold with a timing of 4.25.67 seconds.
The women’s relay team then came in front in 3.33.39 seconds to give India a final tally of five gold, silver and bronze each. (PTI)
