Sanjay hearing on August 20

New Delhi, Aug. 10 (PTI): The Supreme Court today issued a notice to the CBI and posted Sanjay Dutt’s interim bail application for August 20.

“We are not going to pass any order now. We will consider all connected matter on August 20,” a bench headed by Chief Justice K.G. Balakrishnan said when advocate Fali S. Nariman, appearing for the actor, sought an urgent hearing. “We want to follow a uniform approach,” the bench said.

Sanjay was given a six-year jail term in the Bombay blasts case on July 31.
