Gartner honour for Infy

Infosys Technologies Ltd has been positioned in the leaders quadrant by Gartner Inc in the Magic Quadrant for North American Application Services 2007 report. “According to the research firm’s report, leaders are vendors who are performing well today, have a clear vision of market direction, and are actively building competencies to sustain their leadership position in the market,” an Infosys release said.

Birla Sun

Birla Sun Life Insurance has infused an additional capital of Rs 105.5 crore. The infusion has been in various tranches from April to July 2007. This has ben done to expand the company’s distribution network and to conform to the solvency margin requirements as stipulated by the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority.

Manjushree

Manjushree Extrusions Ltd has filed its offer document with Sebi for a rights-cum-public issue of equity shares of Rs 10 each for cash at a premium aggregating Rs 35.7 crore. The company has appointed Centrum Capital Ltd as the lead manager to the proposed offer.
