Hyderabad: A day after the promising Ambati Rayudu joined the Indian Cricket League (ICL), another Hyderabad youngster signed up for the rebel league.
Alfred Abbalam, the second highest wicket-taker for the state team with 24 scalps last season, is the eighth player from Hyderabad to join the ICL, Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) sources said.
Abbalam, 21, is employed with Andhra Bank.
Apart from Rayudu, Vinay Kumar, Ibrahim Khaleel, I. S. Reddy, Anirudh Singh, Kaushik Reddy and Shashank Nag were the other players to join the ICL. (PTI)
