Fly high
you dont need to be a saint or a magician to be able
to levitate. Wondering how? Well, British scientists say
that the trick possibly lies in reverse Casimir force. In
1948, two Dutch physicists —Hendrik B. G. Casimir and Dirk
Polder — detected that a certain force is exerted between
two objects in order to make them stick together. They named
the force the Casimir effect. Recent research has discovered
that by reversing the force in a Vacuum, one object can
repel another rather than attract it. However, scientists
are also of the opinion that since the force is limited
by its nature, it can only make micro objects levitate at
present. This discovery is predicted to revolutionise designs
of micro machines, gadgets, devices of daily use and computer
chips. Now that gives enough reason to soar!

Learning to be rich
Reading comics is going to make you wiser, at least money wise, or so the Reserve Bank of India feels. The RBI is taking money matters to children and the masses through comics written by its employees to fuel general interest in it. The subjects range from savings, deposits to mortgages. These comics are modelled on popular folk tales like Wishes and Rainbows and The Story of a Cheque. These books are going to be distributed in schools, colleges and offices.
