Hidesign stores abroad

Hidesign plans to open retail stores in the UK, New Zealand, Thailand and Turkey by December. The firm, which has its manufacturing unit in Puducherry, is in talks with companies to set up outlets in New Zealand, Thailand and Turkey. It aims to set up a flagship store in the UK in association with Louis Vuitton.

Tata Chem

Tata Chemicals has launched iodised salt I-Shakti in Bihar, Jharkhand, Bengal and Chhattisgarh. The salt is available in 1kg and 500gm packets that are priced at Rs 8 and Rs 4.5 respectively.

ICSA order

ICSA (India) Ltd has bagged orders worth Rs 18.6 crore from MP Paschim Kshetra Vidyut Vitaran Co for design, manufacture, testing and supply of materials. ICSA will also build 33/11kv sub-stations and 11kv power lines.

Pyxis solution

Pyxis Systems, a provider of technology solutions and services, has launched Ionpot, a web-based solution for financial derivatives. The solution can be accessed through the Internet using industry standard security protocols.

LG Electronics

LG Electronics has launched a feather-touch home theatre system with a built-in hard-disc drive, J10HD. The product’s 80GB hard disc drives can store 60 movies and 2,000 music files. The home theatre system is priced at Rs 29,990.
