CAB to felicitate Jhulan tomorrow

The Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) will felicitate Jhulan Goswami at a function on Saturday evening. The pacer was named International Cricket Council’s Women’s Cricketer of the Year for 2006-2007 season.

In the inter-club transfers on Thursday, Arindam Das switched allegiance from Sporting Union to Mohun Bagan.

Customs win

Customs beat Indian Air Force 3-0 in a CFL Super Division match on Thursday. Arindam Das scored a brace while Sajid Mallick struck the other goal.

In other matches, SAIL overcame Aryan by a solitary goal and Railway FC held Tollygunge Agragami goalless. The Police AC-FCI tie was abandoned midway because of rain.
