Spa-Francorchamps: Kimi Raikkonen took pole position for the Belgian Grand Prix on Saturday, edging teammate Felipe Massa for the first Ferrari front row of the season.

Behind the red Ferrari cars, world champion Fernando Alonso just got third place on his final lap to edge overall leader and McLaren teammate Lewis Hamilton, setting up a close race for Sunday.

“It was a good result for the team,” said Raikkonen. “I’m happy to be on pole.”

It was a major bounceback for Ferrari which had to see McLaren take a 1-2 victory at their home Italian Grand Prix last Sunday.
