Calcutta: Lalchand Rajput will continue as cricket manager for the five-match one-day International series against Pakistan. The opening one-dayer is in Guwahati on November 5.
[The Telegraph had reported on October 17 that Rajput was likely to get an extension.]
Lalchand Rajput will continue as interim cricket manager for the ODI series against Pakistan, said a media release from BCCI secretary Niranjan Shah.
Rajput was the cricket manager at World Twenty20 championship in South Africa last month and the seven-match ODI series plus the one-off Twenty20 International against Australia.
A decision on the three-Test series against Pakistan will be taken later. The BCCI has fixed a meeting of its coach selection committee in Mumbai on November 3.
