All-India Anglo-Indian Association and The Telegraph present Frank Anthony Memorial inter-school story-telling contest at the Marble Room, Raj Bhavan, 9am to noon.

Seminar

Soiree

Anandabazar Patrika presents Tagore Symphony, an evening of Rabindrasangeet, at Science City auditorium, 6pm. Vocal recital by Samarth Nagarkar, a student of Pt Ulhas Kashalkar, at Calcutta School of Music, 7pm. Ustad Mashkoor Ali Khan (vocals) and Pt Sohanlal Sharma, on harmonium, in Nadabrahma Sangeet Sammelan at Rabindra Bhavan, Khardah, 1pm. Deepavali Preeti Sammelan, organised by Bidhannagar Sanskriti Sansad, at GC Block, Salt Lake, 4.30pm.

Drama

Sagar Sarhadi’s Bhookhe Bhajan Na Hoye Gopala, directed by Md. Kalim, at Proscenium’s Art Centre, 46 AJC Bose Road, 6.30pm.

Cinema

13th Calcutta Film Festival screenings at Nandan, Sisir Mancha, Rabindra Sadan, New Empire, Star theatre, Madhusudan Mancha, Purbashree (EZCC), Okakura (Rabindra Bhavan) and SRFTI, 9am onwards. Farewell dinner, in association with t2, to mark the conclusion of the 13th Calcutta Film Festival at Hyatt Regency, by invitation only, 8pm.
