The main door to our home is north facing. Our bedroom is on the top floor (third), with the bed in the south-east corner. We have not had any children till now and are facing legal problems with our tenant. I have also not had success in my professional or personal life. Are there any Vastu remedies?

Without a more detailed plan of your house it is difficult to give guidance. Under the circumstances, I suggest you ensure that the puja area in the north-east zone of the house is kept clean. The deity should be located at the east wall of the north-east zone. There should be no toilet or kitchen in this area.

Further, check that the main door and all the bedroom doors open inwards.

I also suspect that the south-west zone of your house has defects. There may be a cut and the floor level may be lower than the north-east zone floor.

I am planning to buy a three-bedroom flat located on the top floor of a ground+three building. The main entrance of the flat faces the staircase, which moves from east to west. Two bedrooms are situated on the southern side, of which one has an attached bath and balcony, while another is in the west side of the flat (with attached bath and balcony). The kitchen is in the west. We are a family of four — parents, my brother and myself. Which bedrooms should be occupied by whom for the best results?

Let your parents occupy the south-west bedroom. Your younger brother should take the bedroom in the west, while you should occupy the other bedroom on the south side. The kitchen may need Vastu rectification.
