SUBJECT: The institute invites applications for its one-year continuous evaluation programme in fashion and clothing technology, conducted by the department of fashion and apparel.

The programme aims to upgrade the skills of professionals working in the garment industry and those who are interested in this area of work. It prepares candidates to get absorbed into the fashion industry in the areas of sample co-ordination, merchandising and production.

The curriculum is structured to instil practical problem-solving abilities in students. The primary subjects are pattern development and draping, technical garment art, textile appreciation and garment construction. Students also get inputs in marketing and merchandising, and production planning and control.

SUBJECT: The National Consortium for PhD in nursing has been constituted by INC in collaboration with the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, under the faculty of nursing and the World Health Organization to promote doctoral education in nursing. Applications are invited from candidates for enrolment for part-time PhD in nursing under the faculty of nursing of RGUHS.

ELIGIBILITY: Applications are invited from those who have obtained an MPhil / MSc (nursing) or a postgraduate degree in nursing recognised by INC. Applicants should have passed an MSc degree in nursing with a minimum of 60 per cent marks.
