New Delhi: East Bengal have been placed in group B of the AFC Cup for clubs to be played next year.
In Monday’s draw in Kuala Lumpur on Monday, the Calcutta outfit was clubbed with Ahli Sana’a (Yemen), Safa (Lebanon) and Al Wihdat (Jordan).
Dempo, the other Indian team in the fray, have been drawn in group A along with Sur (Oman), Al Muharraq (Bahrain) and Al Ansar (Lebanon).
