Midnapore, Feb. 12: A Calcutta police constable was held in West Midnapore last evening on charges of molesting a young widow.

Attracted by her cries for help, some tribal women returning from work surrounded constable Sambhu Ghosh, the Trinamul Congress block president of Belda, Surjya Atta and another man at a bus stand. All three have got bail.
