I am an Indian actor, successful in both mainstream and parallel cinema. I have also appeared in many international films, most recently as Captain Nemo in The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. I debuted in 1975 with Shyam Benegal’s Nishant. In 1979, I won the National Film Award for Best Actor. I was also considered for the title role in Richard Attenborough’s Gandhi. Who am I?
