TELL ME WHY

Why do we see lightning before we hear thunder? It’s simply because light travels much faster than sound. For example, when you see fireworks during Diwali, you always see the bright lights before you hear the boom. The effect is more noticeable when the cracker is going off at a considerable distance from you. Lightning and thunder work in the same way.
