Water whirl

What: The Submerge.

Where: Ordnance Club.

When: April 19.

Splash bash: After its successful Holi bash last month, Ordnance Club celebrated the coming of Baisakhi with a rain dance on its club lawns. Baraf ki goli, a four-hour-long shower splash, friends and family… the rain dance that began at 8pm continued well into the night.

The star of the show was model Sonali Sehgal who has spent much time as a child in the club. Sonali, now based in Mumbai, dropped in to spin some stuff at the console.

There were “repeat demands” for pop tracks like Billo rani and the latest chartbuster Dekhta hai tu kya from Krazzy 4. “The turnout was amazing. Around 600 to 700 people came for the show — most of them regular members, usually seen in trousers, who dressed right for the occasion in shorts and chaddis,” smiled DJ Ravi.
