Guwahati: Chirag United defeated Vasco Sports Club by a solitary goal to record their second successive win in the final round of the second division of the National Football League at the Nehru Stadium on Thursday.

Gauranga Dutta headed in the all-important goal in the 16th minute after Sasthi Duley lobbed in from just outside the box. Despite their best efforts, Vasco could not get the equaliser in a game which saw as as six cautions, three on each side. (PTI)
