Calcutta: The IPL on Friday announced that it had fined both the Bangalore Royal Challengers and Kolkata Knight Riders for slow over rate in the match at the Eden on Thursday night.

While the Vijay Mallya-owned side were fined $1000, Shah Rukh Khan’s side were fined $500 by Match Referee Farokh Engineer.
