Skin screens

Are you looking for a potion that will disguise the signs of ageing? The American cosmetics company, Mary Kay, has launched TimeWise Miracle Set for those fighting wrinkles and fine lines.

The set — it’s tagged at Rs 6,000 — comprises a 3-in-1 cleanser, an Age Fighting Moisturiser, Day Solution Sunscreen SPF 25 and Night Solution.

The cleanser has anti-aging properties and is meant for cleaning, exfoliating and refreshing skin. The Age Fighting Moisturiser aims to speed up the skin’s own natural renewal process leading to firmer, smoother skin with fever lines and wrinkles.

The Day Solution Sunscreen SPF 25 helps prevent fine lines and potential discoloration by blocking out the damaging UVA/UVB rays. The Night Solution consists of vitamins, antioxidants and collagen-enhancing peptides which help to wipe away deep lines and wrinkles.

The Mary Kay range is available through beauty consultants nationwide.

Smart casuals

This one is for men again — and it’s shirts this time. After its formalwear Zodiac and clubwear ZOD! lines, Zodiac Clothing Co has launched Z3, a range of smart casual shirts targeted at young software professionals, media

executives and professionals and businessmen.

The shirts in this range are ultra soft as they are made from 100 per cent cotton fabrics and come with soft collars in two styles — button-down and semi-cutaway.

There are lightly puckered plackets and cuffs to enhance the relaxed look. Z3 shirts come with removable collars. The colour story ranges from solid colours to a range of pastel shades while stripes and checks make a re-appearance.

Priced upwards of Rs 1,599, the Z3 range is available at the Z3 exclusive store in Noida on the outskirts of Delhi, at all Zodiac stores nationwide and select multi-brand retail outlets.

Just glares

They go beyond being utilitarian. For, cool shades do much more than keep the sun’s strong glare at bay. And here’s some good news for men who obsess with sunglasses to stay stylish. Yes, this one is for men only.

Just Cavalli has launched its Men’s Aviators Summer 2008 Glares collection in a fusion of plastic and metal which makes them light, comfortable and sturdy.

The aviator sunglasses feature metal frames, logo embossed at the temples, and gradient lenses with 100 per cent UV protection.

The colours are hot and intense like red enamel, burgundy, eggplant and brown striped mahogany and cooler ones like blue.

The rims of the aviators are made of plastic and come in colours like gold, bronze, black and silver in glossy satin or metallic finishes.

Priced upwards of Rs 8,000, the Just Cavalli range is available at Shopper’s Stop and all leading optical outlets.
