Kozhikode: Fourth seed Eesha Karvade of Maharashtra, who remained unconquered throughout the tournament, lifted the National Women’s ‘B’ Chess championship title on Saturday.

Settling for a quick draw with Pon N Krithika (TN) in the 11th and final round, Eesha was crowned the champion after she finished at the top of the table with 8.5 points.
