The Natural Way

I always use MAC for my face and eye make-up but when it comes to removing my eye make-up I use Olay. I use baby oil to remove all traces of foundation from my face after a shoot and end up cleansing with Neutrogena facewash.

I am a 16-year-old boy. My hair is thinning and falling rapidly. Please suggest a natural remedy.

Sayandeep Mitra, Siliguri

Switch to a healthy diet. Have a lot of fruits and green vegetables. Massage your hair with a good quality mahabhringraj oil. The oil increases hair growth.

My daughter is eight years old. Her skin is losing its glow. Is it right to clean her face with cotton dipped into milk? She also has dark circles which is hereditary. Please help.

Why not? You can clean her face with milk not once but twice a day. If the dark circles are hereditary, make sure she drinks at least eight glasses of water daily and wash her face with fresh coconut water.

I am a 22-year-old woman. I have tanned now. Please advise.

Mix honey and the juice of a lemon in equal quantities. Massage your skin with this mixture. Take fresh coconut cream and add sandalwood powder to this. Apply this on your skin on alternate days. Massage your skin with pomegranate juice and milk which would help soften it, remove the tan and keep you glowing.
