Thank the lord I’m not a stock market person. I track the BSE and Nifty though more like a one-day cricket score — coldly, just to stay in touch rather than to make/lose money. The stock market crash reminded me of what Sir Isaac Newton, the famous scientist, who lost a fortune in the 1720 ‘South Sea Bubble’ lamented, “I can calculate the motions of heavenly bodies, but not the madness of people.” Sure Sir, I can’t do either.
