I Think
Should security be increased in schools / colleges in view of the recent terror attacks?

no. Increasing security on campuses will not be enough to save students if highly-trained terrorists decide to target them.

Rita Chakraborty
Dum Dum, Calcutta

Certainly. Otherwise educational institutions will prove to be the next soft target of the terrorists.

Dalut Ram Agarwal
Lake Town, Calcutta

Yes. Stringent measures need to be taken so that students can study safely and their parents do not have to worry about their security.

Darpana

yes. There is no knowing who the terrorists will target next. Prevention is always better than cure.

Madhuparna Chaki
Calcutta

definitely. A student spends 6-7 hours, more than a quarter of the day, at school or college. So colleges and schools should improve security arrangements. After all, everybody wants to feel secure.
