I am not loyal to any make-up brands and believe in homemade stuff. I follow a strict routine of cleansing, moisturising and
toning my face everyday. I also like aloe vera and buy creams,
lotions and lipsticks which
contain aloe vera. |
I have a little bit of wave to my shoulder-length hair but it tends to look frizzy and dry. How can I make it look better but still use my natural texture?

Assuming your hair is not actually dry and brittle, you may just need a little bit of product to help you out. Consider using a light leave-in-conditioner mixed with a curl-enhancing lotion and maybe even a drop or two of shine serum, and apply all over your damp hair.
Comb it through for even distribution. Either allow your hair to air-dry or use a diffuser on your blow-dryer, lightly scrunching while it dries. Try not to touch your hair too much while it dries as that could make it look frizzy too.
Another option is to use the same cocktail of products, then twist sections of hair until they buckle and create a rosette close to your scalp. Pin each section up and either air-dry or use a hood dryer. Once completely dry, undo the pins and lightly finger back through to break up the sections with a small amount of gloss or pomade on your hands.
I am an 18-year-old woman with a dusky complexion. My eyes are large and deep-set. Please suggest the right eye make-up for me.

You can make your eyes look dramatic with certain basic make-up tips. Youll need a combination of light and dark tinted eyeshadow to play up your eyes. Opt for beige or ivory eyeshadow which provides light tints. Or go for black and grey shades which will create an aura of mystery. Black or grey eyeliner and gold or silver shimmery eyeshadow will also work wonders.
Use the lighter shades over your eyelids as a sheer base. This will also ensure that your eye make-up lasts longer. Outline your eyes with the eyeliner and smudge gently with a cotton bud to create a smoky effect. Apply black or grey eyeshadow over the brow bone and blend well with outward strokes.
Use your fingertips to avoid concentration of colour on the eyelids and allow the eyeshadow to spread uniformly. Use plenty of gold or silver shimmer on the corners of the eyes to get that glamourous look. |
