Calcutta: Somdev Dev Varman inched closer to the 200 mark as he gained two places to be placed at 202 and continue to be the top-ranked Indian singles player in the latest ATP Tour rankings Monday.
Prakash Amritraj also moved four places forward to 206 followed by Rohan Bopanna (332) on the list that is topped by Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic, in that order.
Sania Mirza climbed one rung to be ranked 100 in the womens singles chart that has Jelena Jankovic at the No.1 spot. Mirza is ranked 61st in doubles.
Sunitha Rao is the second best Indian at 196 while Isha Lakhani (361), Anikta Bhambri (377) and Sanaa Bhambri (478) all climbed a few rungs.
Mahesh Bhupathi and Leander Paes maintained their sixth and 10th positions respectively in the mens doubles rankings. Bopanna (76) is the other Indian in the top-100 while Ashutosh Singh (169) and Harsh Mankad (185) will be looking to join the trio .
