The final results of the Civil Services Examination were declared by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) last week. This year, 1016 candidates have been recommended by the commission to be recruited as officers in IAS, IPS and other All India Services.

Aditya Srivastava, a resident of Lucknow, has secured an All India Rank 1 in the exam. Srivastava achieved this brilliant feat in his third attempt. In his earlier attempt, he secured the 236th rank and was selected for the Indian Police Service. He is currently undergoing training at the Sardar Vallabbhai Patel National Police Academy in Hyderabad.

Aditya has recently shared his marksheet on his social media account, drawing attention from the netizens who have been amazed by his brilliant performance.

The marksheet shared by him clearly shows his scores in all papers of the Mains examination and the personality test.

In the essay paper, i.e. Paper I, Srivastava has scored 117 while in General Studies Paper I, II, III and IV, he has scored 104, 132, 95 and 143 respectively.

Aditya had electrical engineering as his optional subject and has scored a excellent marks of 148 and 160 in Paper I and Paper II respectively.

In the personality test, Aditya has achieved a brilliant score of 200 taking his aggregate marks to 1099.

A brilliant student since his school days, Aditya completed his B.Tech from IIT Kanpur and has worked with several private sector companies before starting his preparation for the UPSC Civil Services Examination.

The three-stage Union Public Service Commission Civil Services Examination is conducted annually to recommend candidates as officers in the Indian Administrative Service, Indian Police Service, Indian Foreign Service and other central services.
