JEE Main 2025 Application Form
Candidates can apply for Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main) 2024 only through online mode. Applications in any other mode are not accepted. Admission forms can only be submitted through the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA): https://jeemain.nta.nic.in/.
Before filling up the application form, candidates should carefully go through the instructions provided in the Information Bulletin that is available on the NTA website. Non-compliance with the aforementioned instructions will result in the disqualification of candidature.
Steps to apply online for JEE Main 2025:
1. Register for the online application form and make note of the application number assigned by the system.
-
It is crucial that the candidate provides their full name as it appears on their Class 10 certificate or equivalent examination, otherwise the form will be rejected.
-
The candidate needs to fill in the necessary information while completing the online form and create a password, as well as select a security question and provide an answer.
-
Once the personal details have been successfully submitted, a unique application number will be generated. This number will be used to complete the rest of the application form and for all future communication.
-
The same application number will also apply for both sessions of JEE Main 2024. For future login attempts, the candidate can simply use their application number and password.
-
Candidates can log in using the application number issued by the system and the password they created in advance, in order to complete the application form. This involves filling in personal information, selecting the desired examination paper, choosing their preferred examination city, entering their educational qualifications, and uploading any necessary images and documents. Upload of the scanned images of the candidate’s photograph, signature, category certificate (if applicable), and PwD certificate (wherever applicable):
-
The recent photograph should be either in colour or black and white with 80% face (without mask) visible including ears against a white background.
-
Scanned photograph and signature should be in JPG/JPEG format (clearly legible).
-
The size of the scanned photograph should be between 10 kb to 200 kb (clearly legible).
-
The size of the scanned signature should be between 4 kb to 30 kb (clearly legible).
-
The size of the scanned copy of the Category certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS etc.) should be in pdf between 50kb to 300kb (clearly legible).
-
The size of the scanned copy of the PwD certificate should be in pdf between 50 kb to 300 kb (clearly legible).
-
The choice of examination cities displayed to candidates is based on the permanent and correspondence addresses filled in the online application form of JEE Main 2024.
-
After finishing steps 1 and 2, candidates must pay the required examination fee. This fee can only be submitted online through net banking, credit card, debit card, or UPI. Candidates will be responsible for paying any processing fees and GST (as applicable), in addition to the examination fee, to the relevant bank. The confirmation page of the online application form will be generated only after the payment has been successfully processed. If the confirmation page is not generated despite payment, the candidate should reach out to the concerned bank (using the contact information provided in the information bulletin) to confirm the payment was successful or to request a refund for any duplicate or multiple payments.
