The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has released the schedule for the 2024 counselling process, starting June 10. Eligible candidates who have cleared the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2024 and JEE Advanced 2024 can register and fill their choices on the official website, josaa.nic.in.
This process is crucial for securing admissions into BTech and other programmes at premier institutions like the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and the National Institutes of Technology (NITs).
The counselling process will be conducted online, taking into account candidates' entrance exam scores and the cut-offs set by the institutions. The process consists of registration, choice-filling, seat allotment, and online reporting.
This year, JoSAA will conduct five rounds of counselling for BTech admissions. Refer to the JoSAA Counselling 2024 schedule available here.
The JEE Advanced 2024 results will be announced on June 9 at jeeadv.ac.in, following the examination conducted on May 26 for JEE Main qualifiers. The JEE Main 2024 results were declared on April 24, with 56 candidates achieving a perfect score.
