Actress Sonam Kapoor wished her husband Anand Ahuja on their sixth wedding anniversary on Wednesday by sharing a set of unseen pictures of them together. Here’s a look.
“To the love of my life. My everything , Happy Anniversary. Your unconditional love and support is my anchor and safe place. Getting married to you was the best decision of my life. We live in heaven. I love you more than I can express,” Sonam wrote in a note on Instagram.
Sonam met Anand for the first time during the promotions of her 2015 film Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.
Sonam tied the knot with entrepreneur Anand Ahuja in Mumbai on May 8, 2018. The couple welcomed their son Vayu on August 20, 2023.
Dia Mirza, Neha Dhupia, Bipasha Basu, Shehnaaz Gill, Damian Foxe, Sonam’s mother Sunita Kapoor, chef Pooja Dhingra, Bhumi Pednekar, Maheep Kapoor and Huma Qureshi were among the celebrities who extended their best wishes to the couple on their special day.
On Vayu’s first birthday, Sonam donned a golden three-piece salwar suit, while Anand sported a blue checkered Kurta. The birthday boy sported an all-white two-piece kurta suit.
“You are the reason we feel and understand of our place in the universe. You teach us our sense of self and understanding of community. Im so grateful to be married to you for 6 years and for you to be my girlfriend for 8,” wrote Anand on Instagram to wish wife Sonam on their wedding anniversary.
Earlier this month, Sonam opened up about her postpartum journey on an episode of Fashionably Pernia’s The Style Icon podcast.
From exploring new destinations to going on dates, Sonam and Anand always find ways to spend time with each other despite their busy schedules.
“Love you the most most most great photo selection,” Sonam commented on Anand Ahuja’s post shared on Instagram on their anniversary.
Sonam, who made her acting debut with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s 2007 film Sawariya, is known for her performances in Neerja, Aisha and Raanjhanaa.
Sonam Kapoor was last seen in Shome Makhija’s 2022 film Blind, also starring Purab Kohli and Vijay Pathak.
