Admissions to the university are granted on the basis of scores of the Adamas University Admission Test (AUAT), or the WBJEE or JEE for engineering courses. Admission Procedure
Admissions to Adamas University are conducted online mode. To apply for their undergraduate degrees like B.Sc, BBA, B.Com, BCA, B.A with multiple specializations, along with B.A LL.B, B.Optom; candidates must register on the website, fill out the application form and upload the required documents. Thereafter, the application fee can be paid online to complete the application process. While the admission criteria and eligibility differ from course to course, all students must have passed their 10+2 school leaving test from a recognised board of secondary education. For B.Tech or Engineering courses, students must have the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) or the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main or the Adamas University Admission Test result.
AU, Kolkata provides a few PG courses with various specializations. Candidates who want to admit to PG (M.Sc, M.Com, MBA) courses must have a bachelor's degree from a recognised university with the required marks with the entrance exam - CAT/ MAT/ XAT.
Candidates for the PG (non-MBA) programme must have a cumulative GPA of at least 50% and must participate in an institute-conducted online examination.
A candidate for an M.Tech degree must have at least a 55% average in their undergraduate studies as well as valid scores on either the Joint Entrance Examination Main or the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination.
Faculty
Adamas University has highly-qualified and skilled faculty members. The professors are extremely helpful, and can be approached directly for any assistance the students require. The teaching quality is excellent, and various study materials are provided after each module for the students' convenience. The teachers are extremely accommodating, knowledgeable, and qualified.
Placements
Adamas University in Kolkata has a Career Development Cell that provides students with suitable training as well as Career services such as Quality Placements, Higher Education Support, Internship Opportunities, Entrepreneur Support, and Career Guidance. While assisting the students in improving their skills, the cell takes initiative in alumni contacts. To help students become excellent Team Leaders and Players, the Cell regularly conducts activities, workshops, and summits. Scholarships
Adamas University offers candidates merit-based scholarships. Candidates already enrolled at Adamas University, AIS and AWS, and Rice Education are eligible for a one-time 50 percent admission fee waiver and a 25 percent semester I fee reduction. If they score 85 percent or higher on the AUAT test and apply to Adamas University through it, the students can get fee reduction for Semester I.
