Birla Global University, Bhubaneswar (BGU) was established under the Birla Global University Odisha Act, 2015. A self-financed private unitary University, BGU, Bhubaneswar is mainly promoted by the Birla Academy of Art and Culture. The Governor of Odisha is the Chancellor of BGU, Bhubaneswar. The University was founded with the intention of being the destination of choice for aspiring professionals.

The Centre for Corporate Relations (CCR) of BGU, Bhubaneswar is in charge of all placement-related activities. The placement drives are participated in by national and international companies. Admission Procedure
Admission to Birla Global University, Bhubaneswar takes place online. Candidates wanting to take admitted and having a minimum of 50% marks in the 10+2 examination, can fill up the application form online via the official website, and submit the requisite application payment. Admission to the BBA LL.B course is based on the BGU Entrance Test or the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) or the Law School Admission Test (LSAT) or the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET). Selected candidates for the different courses are intimated for further processes.
BGU Bhubaneswar also offers postgraduate degrees ( M.A / M.SC / MBA / M.COM) with various specializations. Interested candidates can apply through their official website. To apply for their degree candidate must qualify for basic admission criteria. For their MBA degree candidate must qualify for an entrance examination Birla Global University Entrance Test ( BET) /CAT/ MAT / XAT/ CMAT. And for the LLM degree candidate must qualify CLAT / LET examination with valid marks.

The Centre for Corporate Relations (CCR) of the Birla Global University, Bhubaneswar, is in charge of all placement-related activities. CCR helps companies to connect with students and build their brand on campus. Working together with companies, the Centre for Corporate Relations also arranges summer internships, short projects, soft-skill training, and workshops for the students. Students get intimation about placement opportunities from the Centre for Corporate Relations (CCR) through postings in their group as well as through postings on the notice board for placement news. The major recruitment partners are Britannia, Deloitte, Federal Bank, Axis Bank, BYJU's, SBI Life, Extramarks, ITC, HDFC Mutual Funds, Naukri.com, JK Paper, Berger Paints, Redington, and many more.
Scholarships
Birla Global University, Bhubaneswar offers scholarships to students who have a consistent academic record, as well as students from the reserved categories. To avail of the scholarship, enrolled students have to apply for the "Pujya G.D. Birla Scholarship". The scholarship for meritorious students are provided under the following tabs: 40% waiver on course fees on securing 90% and above in both 10 and 10+2 grades, 30% waiver for a minimum 80% score, 25% waver for a minimum 70% score and 20% waver for minimum 60% score. Candidates pursuing the BBA LLB course get a further 10% waiver on scoring at least 60% in CLAT.
