Admission Procedure

The Christian Medical College, Vellore conducts an admission procedure that starts with filling up the registration form followed by clearing the entrance exam and then finally filling out the application form followed by verifying the documents for the final admission. CMC provides admission to courses like MBBS, Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery and B.Sc. in Nursing and postgraduate degrees in MD, MS, and MCH,  The institute is co-educational. Candidates must take the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test NEET exam in order to get admitted to CMC Vellore's MBBS programme. Candidates must have at least 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in their 12th grade from an accredited board. 

Candidates for MD and MS enrollment must pass an entrance exam, have an M.B.B.S. degree, and have completed a mandatory rotating residential internship.  Admission will be determined by the score the candidate performs on the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test NEET exam. 

CMC Vellore also offers M.Sc, MHA, MPH, and MPT with various specializations at the Postgraduate level. A UG degree in the relevant discipline is the minimum requirement for admission into CMC Vellore's PG programmes, and students are chosen for these programmes based on their performance on entrance exams. Candidates must show up for the Computer Based Test (CBT) in order to be admitted to the M.Sc. Nursing/MPT programme. Admission into M.Sc., MHA, and MPH programmes will be based on merit obtained in the prerequisite degree and a passing score on the entrance exam.
