The Institute of Advanced Management, Kolkata is situated in Salt Lake, Sector-V and offers state-of-the-art academic and extra-curricular facilities to ensure holistic development and all-around education of its students.
IAM Kolkata has well-equipped classrooms and well-sticked libraries housing international titles across the world. The library stores large volumes of books, journals, and manuscripts as well as other printed and audio-visual materials. The library is additionally equipped with an efficient computer system to aid students to locate books and reading material. The library is also an institutional member of the British Council Library. Besides classrooms and libraries, IAM Kolkata also houses practical experience-training infrastructure such as training kitchens, bakeries, training restaurants, training front office and guest rooms. These facilities are modern, up-to-date, and well-equipped to provide a high standard of practical training to students to prepare them for real-world experiences. The equipment is updated and upgraded periodically to stay on par with the rapidly progressing syllabi.
The campus also houses course-specific laboratories and computer centres equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and digital infrastructure. Exclusively for student use, the computer centres offer computing services and are equipped with up-to-date modern software, multimedia, and CD-ROMs. The laboratories and centres are equipped with an internet connection to allow students to access cyberspace for research and study purposes. IAM Kolkata students are taught with the ‘FIDELIO’ PMS software, used globally by large hotel chains. The campus also boasts a training commercial hotel attached to the campus which helps provide real-life exposure and practical experience with the management and operation of commercial hotels. This facility helps students apply theoretical knowledge to the practical field.
IAM Kolkata offers sports and extra-curricular facilities in the form of courts, fields, and equipment for sports such as football. IAM Kolkata offers residential facilities by providing well-maintained, secured, and hygienic hostels for boys and girls. The hostels are situated near the college and provide varying accommodation categories to be inclusive of students’ varying requirements. The institute provides hygienic and healthy meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner in the cafeteria.
